Common house fly (Musca domestica), Stable fly (Stomonys calcifrans), flesh fly (Sarca phaga) are of great public health concern being whimsical in behavior and unable to distinguish between food and filth. These are associated with more than 100 diseases causing organisms which include Cholera, Typhoid, Amoebic dysentery etc. Besides their disagreeable presence in houses, fly is a source of great annoyance.
Fly control is an intricate job, which needs to be tackled under Integrated Pest Management Programme where in various control measures are required to be implemented simultaneously because the chemical measures only cannot be substitute for other measures. During the visit we will spray the chemical pesticides in the area of corridors and common areas where the maximum fly resting is noticed. We refrain from spraying chemical pesticides to control flies inside the production areas even when production is suspended. As accumulation of decaying and rotting organic matter the original source of fly breeding, we expect you to check the population by eliminating the sources and proper organic waste management. As part of life cycle breakdown we will be using insect growth regulators if the organic matter is near to our premises and practically unable to dispose.
